The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for presenting and explaining treatment plans to patients in a clear and confident manner, helping them understand their options and the benefits of recommended procedures. They will coordinate and schedule patient treatments in line with provider availability, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Follow-up on unscheduled treatments is a key part of this role, with an emphasis on boosting case acceptance rates to support the practice's growth and patient health outcomes. The position includes verifying insurance benefits, calculating co-pays, and discussing financial arrangements with patients, requiring a solid understanding of dental insurance and billing practices. Accurate documentation in practice management software and meticulous tracking and reporting of case acceptance, production, and collections are essential responsibilities, ensuring the practice meets its operational goals. Beyond administrative duties, the Treatment Coordinator must maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times, working closely with the front office and clinical team to ensure seamless patient communication and flow.
