We are currently seeking an exceptional Dental Receptionist/Front Desk Assistant to join our committed team. This is an in-person position based in Lake Arrowhead Village Dental Group, requiring the ability to commute to specific locations within San Bernardino and Lake Arrowhead areas. The role offers a competitive hourly wage between $25.00 - $30.00, reflecting the expertise and dedication we expect. As a critical member of our team, the Dental Receptionist/Front Desk Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and organized front office experience. You will be responsible for verifying dental insurance benefits, explaining treatment plans, assisting with scheduling, and maintaining accurate patient records using our practice management software.

This role demands excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced dental office environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in dental front office operations, with knowledge of insurance verification, treatment planning, patient billing, and coordination with clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow. Candidates with a Dental Assistant certification and related experience will be highly valued; however, we also embrace enthusiastic recent graduates from accredited programs who are eager to grow professionally.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to commute 2x per week to Lake Arrowhead Village Dental Group in Lake Arrowhead, CA
  • experience working as a dental assistant
  • ability to work in person at San Bernardino, CA 92404 and Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced in dental front office (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
  • strong with insurance verification, treatment planning, and scheduling
  • dental assistant certification and/or experience preferred
