- One or more years of customer service experience
- Must be able to commute between Irmo and West Columbia locations as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of customer service experience
- One or more years of experience in a dental or medical office setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable organized and detail-oriented
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming professional environment
- Schedule and confirm appointments and manage provider calendars
- Answer phone calls respond to inquiries and manage patient communication
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
- Process payments handle billing and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
- Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
