Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • availability to work Tuesday through Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm
  • ability to travel between two office locations in Hadley and Springfield, MA
  • strong communication skills
  • reliable and organized with attention to detail
  • proficiency with dental software and computer applications
  • knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes
  • ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical office setting
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • experience with dental practice management software
  • proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

Job Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
