Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- availability to work Tuesday through Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm
- ability to travel between two office locations in Hadley and Springfield, MA
- strong communication skills
- reliable and organized with attention to detail
- proficiency with dental software and computer applications
- knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes
- ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical office setting
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- experience with dental practice management software
- proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
- knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
- schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
- answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
- verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
- process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
- maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
- coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
- ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
