Job Description

Specialized Dental Partners, along with its affiliates, related companies, and independently owned supported clinical practices, represents a leading network of dental care providers dedicated to delivering high-quality dental services while fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. The organization is widely recognized for its commitment to patient-centered care, professional development, and embracing diversity and inclusion within its workforce. As a company, it is devoted to maintaining fair and equitable employment practices, ensuring pay equity, and nurturing a culture that respects and values every employee. This dedication contributes to creating a workplace where professionals can flourish while helping patients achieve optimal oral health outcomes. Specialized Dental Partners take pride in their established reputation for excellence and innovation in dental healthcare services. They emphasize the importance of teamwork and professionalism, which enhances both patient satisfaction and operational efficiency within their practices.

The role of Dental Receptionist at Specialized Dental Partners is crucial within the dental practice environment. This position serves as the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their experience and contributing significantly to the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients feel welcomed and supported, handling various administrative tasks, and facilitating communication between patients and dental providers. This PRN (pro re nata) position offers flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, allowing employees to engage in meaningful work while balancing personal commitments.

Your responsibilities will encompass greeting patients warmly, managing appointment scheduling and confirmations, and coordinating provider calendars to maintain an organized flow within the practice. You will also be managing patient communications by answering calls and responding to inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. Additionally, the position involves verifying insurance coverage, obtaining necessary pre-authorizations, and processing payments. Accurate maintenance of patient records and financial documentation is essential to uphold operational standards.

Working as a Dental Receptionist requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. This role provides opportunities to develop expertise in dental office management software and gain a deeper understanding of dental billing and insurance procedures. Specialists at Specialized Dental Partners encourage continuous learning and growth, supporting employees as they enhance their skills and advance their careers.

Importantly, Specialized Dental Partners commit to fair and equitable compensation, regularly reviewing pay practices and conducting audits to ensure all employees receive fair treatment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. This commitment reinforces the organization’s culture of transparency, fairness, and inclusivity, making it not only a great place to work but also a proud leader in the dental industry.
