Job Description

AACI, a respected leader in healthcare services, is committed to providing exceptional dental care within a supportive and patient-focused environment. As a community-centric organization, AACI prides itself on delivering quality healthcare by integrating comprehensive dental services with a commitment to compassionate patient care. The organization emphasizes a holistic approach to oral health, recognizing the importance of dental wellbeing as part of overall health. AACI's dental team is composed of dedicated professionals working together to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure that each patient receives personalized and effective care.

We are currently seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our expanding dental team. This position offers an hourly wage of $23.00 to $25.00 and is an in-person role, ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about fostering positive interactions and ensuring seamless front office operations. The Dental Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, playing a crucial role in shaping their experience from the moment they enter the facility. This role requires a high degree of organization, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others.

In this role, you will greet patients with a warm and welcoming smile, provide exceptional customer service, and manage various front desk tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include answering and managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, verifying dental insurance eligibility, and assisting patients with referrals. Additionally, you will be tasked with registering new patients, updating existing patient information, and processing payments while ensuring accurate records are maintained. Working closely with the Dental Program Manager, you will handle administrative duties that support the broader dental care team. Your contribution will be vital in promoting Covered California outreach and enrollment resources, enhancing patient access to necessary dental services.

Candidates who thrive in fast-paced healthcare settings, possess at least one year of dental front office experience, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management software will find this role particularly rewarding. Experience with Epic Wisdom EHR and bilingual abilities in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Vietnamese are advantageous. Above all, a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate care is essential to succeed in this position.

Joining AACI means becoming part of a team dedicated to health equity and community service. You will benefit from a comprehensive package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan with matching contributions and paid time off. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow their careers in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment while making a positive impact on the communities served by AACI.
