Job Description

Our dental practice is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and a welcoming environment to every patient who walks through our doors. We are in the exciting phase of building an amazing team and are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our practice, acting as the heart of our team by ensuring a stellar first impression, seamless appointment scheduling, and efficient support to our dental professionals.

As a dental assistant/receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in both assisting our dental team during procedures and managing front-desk responsibilities. Our practice emphasizes creating a supportive atmosphere where your contributions are valued, ideas are welcomed, and professional growth is encouraged. Originally offered as a part-time position with 24-30 hours a week, this opportunity is designed to grow into full-time employment. We offer competitive pay ranging from $25 to $30 per hour, reflecting your experience and qualifications.

Your daily activities will include preparing instruments and materials for various dental procedures, chairside assistance during treatments, sterilization tasks, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, coordinating insurance processing, and providing oral hygiene guidance. You'll also contribute to maintaining a clean and well-stocked work environment and perform some lab duties as needed. This multifaceted role requires a motivated self-starter who is reliable, organized, and passionate about delivering outstanding patient experiences.

Our ideal candidate holds current licenses in X-ray and coronal polishing and has over two years of experience working as a dental assistant within a clinical setting. Familiarity with digital scanning technology and experience using dental software such as Open Dental is highly desirable. You should bring a positive, energetic attitude and a passion for learning and growth. This position reports to the lead dentist, and you can expect to work closely with the doctor, contributing ideas to improve office efficiency and patient care.

Our office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with every other Saturday from 8 am to 12 pm. We value work-life balance and offer a range of benefits including 401(k), continuing education credits, dental insurance, employee discounts, free parking, paid time off, and a uniform allowance. We encourage candidates who are excited about the opportunity to be a key player in a growing practice to apply and join us in delivering exceptional dental care and a welcoming patient experience.
