Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year experience as associate manager or 2 years as first assistant manager for internal promotion
- minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P L responsibility for external hire
- must be certified in all workstations
- completion of restaurant manager training classes
- ServSafe certification
- ability to speak read and write English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- basic math skills
- analytical skills
- organizational and planning skills
- proficiency with personal computers and software
- valid driver's license and insurance
- ability to use personal vehicle
- ability to stand and walk for 85 to 95 percent of shift
- ability to lift 10 to 65 pounds
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma G E D or equivalent
- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 1 plus years experience as an associate manager or 2 years experience as a first assistant manager for internal promote
- minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P L responsibility for external recruit
- must be 100 percent certified in all workstations
- must complete restaurant manager training classes
- must be ServSafe certified
- ability to speak read and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
- proven analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills
- proficient knowledge of personal computers and software applications
- valid driver's license and insurance
- use of personal vehicle as required

Job Duties
- Recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
- monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- ensures systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to by management and crew
- identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader positions
- manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
- provides exceptional guest service and food quality adhering to Denny's systems procedures and food safety requirements
- responds to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- utilizes management information tools to analyze restaurant operations and financial performance
- focuses on increasing sales and profitability by executing the Service Profit Chain
- monitors costs adherence to budget and restaurant goals
- maintains restaurant cleanliness maintenance and excellent service
- treats employees with respect and dignity and motivates staff to achieve high performance
