Job Description
Our company is a leading hospitality establishment operating popular dining venues known as Den, The Cove, and Infinity. These restaurants are distinguished for their exceptional food and beverage experiences, committed to delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining environments. As part of a dedicated and professional team, the company focuses on providing high-quality service, maintaining rigorous cleanliness and safety standards, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Employing experienced and dynamic staff, the company prides itself on teamwork and excellent operational standards within the competitive hospitality industry.
We are currently seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our management team. This full-time role involves direct supervision and scheduling of dining servers and bar staff across our various venues. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will play a critical role in daily operations, balancing hands-on customer service with staff management responsibilities, ensuring all service areas are maintained to the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation. This position requires proactive guest engagement, addressing customer needs and concerns promptly, and evaluating guest intoxication levels responsibly.
In this role, the Supervisor will collaborate closely with other supervisors to support company goals, uphold policies, and deliver consistently excellent guest experiences. Key responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, training, and performance appraisals of service staff, managing food service flow, maintaining inventory, executing cash handling procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, labor, and gaming regulations. The Supervisor will also assist with marketing initiatives related to food and beverage promotions and moderate service quality by filling in operational gaps where necessary.
Candidates must be prepared to work variable schedules, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as dictated by business needs. The role demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, the ability to carry out routine administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting, and dedication to maintaining a professional image at all times. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with knowledge of dining service sequences and buffet procedures. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional customer orientation, leadership capabilities, and adherence to company standards in appearance and service practices. Physical demands include standing and mobility for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. This supervisory position offers a unique opportunity for career development in a vibrant hospitality setting, emphasizing teamwork, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.
