Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years old
- valid state issued driver license
- excellent communication skills
- able to read, write and speak English fluently
- ability to operate a computer/tablet
- physically able to perform bending, stooping, climbing and working in tight spaces
- alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and ability to use radio equipment
- able to read and interpret aircraft documents and hazardous material labels
- eligibility to obtain FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal credentials
- legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- able to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- successful interview completion
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- must possess a valid state issued driver license
- excellent communication skills
- able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- ability to operate a computer/tablet to enter and retrieve data
- ability to perform a variety of physical activities including bending, stooping, climbing, and working in tight spaces
- able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment
- able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
- eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal) per local requirements
- legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- successful completion of interview required
Job Duties
- Remove all trash from aircraft and clean and restock all lavatories and soiled magazines
- clean aircraft floor, galley, all seats, seat back pockets, and tray tables
- complete Daily Equipment Checks and associated checklists, including security searches
- use personal protective equipment, including a face shield and hearing protection
- manage the daily operation to ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
- provide direction, instruction and coaching to employees as needed
- work closely with Dispatchers and Supervisors to ensure employee assignments are followed and completed correctly
- effectively communicate with all hub services agents
- ensure any injuries, incidents, accidents, and/or customer service issues are properly reported and processed
- maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
- ensure the operation functions in a safe, caring, dependable and efficient manner at all times
- perform other duties, as assigned
