The role available at Parlor Doughnuts is a hands-on position for someone with experience and passion for crafting high-quality layered doughnuts from start to finish. This position is essential in maintaining the signature quality standards that Parlor Doughnuts is known for. The individual hired will work as part of the Den/Back of House team, taking responsibility for preparing doughnuts—including mixing, frying, and decorating—ensuring that the display remains fully stocked, and meeting customer needs effectively. This role requires a blend of culinary skill, organization, and customer service, as there is interaction with the front of house team to provide excellent service by taking orders and addressing customer questions or concerns. Besides doughnut preparation, the candidate will collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of fryers and maintain inventory control over ingredients. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen along with strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols are also crucial aspects of this job. The position calls for teamwork, flexibility in tasks such as dishwashing, sweeping, and managing garbage, and the stamina to work a full shift, often starting early in the morning at 4:00 AM.

Job Requirements

  • Must be punctual for 4:00 AM opening shifts
  • Knowledge and training in kitchen emergencies such as first aid, CPR, and fires

Job Duties
