Job Description
Delaware North is a global leader in hospitality and food service management, known for its extensive operations across sports venues, national parks, airports, casinos, and various entertainment and hospitality establishments. With a proud legacy spanning over 100 years as a family-owned company, Delaware North is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating vibrant workplaces for its employees. Their presence at Truist Park, the state-of-the-art ballpark home to Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves, exemplifies their dedication to quality service in iconic locations. Operating concessions, premium dining, and restaurants since Truist Park opened in 2016, Delaware North combines hospitality expertise with innovative service approaches to serve millions of guests every year.
The role of an In-Seat Runner at Truist Park offers a dynamic and engaging opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy delivering superior guest service. As an In-Seat Runner, you become a vital part of the team responsible for enhancing the fan experience by ensuring timely delivery of food and beverage orders directly to guests in their seats. This seasonal position allows candidates to gain experience in food service and event hospitality, with pay starting at an attractive rate of $17.15 per hour. Team members enjoy the chance to grow within a supportive environment that promotes learning and rewards effort.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with kitchen staff and fellow team members to stock carts, coordinate food preparation, and manage product inventory efficiently. You will actively engage with guests to verify IDs for alcohol service and maintain cleanliness and organization in the seating areas and pantries. The position demands strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, navigate stadium stairs, and stand for extended periods. Flexibility is essential, as working hours include evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Delaware North emphasizes a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunity, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and ensuring a work environment free from discrimination. The company invests in its employees' growth through training programs, professional development, and comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid vacation, and more. Joining Delaware North as an In-Seat Runner is not merely a job but an entry into a global community dedicated to shaping the future of hospitality. Whether your career interests lie in sports, food service, or hospitality management, this role provides valuable hands-on experience and a stepping stone for advancement within the company or the wider hospitality industry.
