The Market Operations Delivery Manager role plays a vital part in managing the daily operations of the delivery team to ensure efficient and safe delivery services. This position involves assisting with supervising delivery staff, monitoring fleet performance, overseeing compliance with safety regulations, and fostering effective communication between departments and customers. The Delivery Manager is responsible for maintaining driver attendance records, conducting training programs on safe driving and company procedures, and performing ride-alongs to coach and observe drivers on safety, productivity, and customer service standards. Additionally, the role requires payroll oversight, management of invoices and related paperwork, and administration of worker’s compensation, incentive, and safety programs. This full-time position offers a salary range of $54,600 to $74,025, with an emphasis on results-oriented professionals who excel in a fast-paced and high-volume team environment. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in related area
  • proficient PC skills using MS Office and various computer programs including presentation software
  • results-oriented professional with verbal and written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to multi-task, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • analytic and reporting skills
  • utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

Job Duties

  • Effectively aide in managing the delivery operations team
  • monitor delivery fleet using MobileCast and/or Roadnet
  • recommend and/or perform performance management actions including selection and hiring, transferring, discharging, assignment of work, and progressive discipline
  • maintain driver attendance records, sick days, vacation
  • train drivers in safe driving, proper lifting techniques, company delivery process and procedure
  • conduct regular ride along with drivers, perform observation and coaching to ensure proper customer service, productivity metric achievement, and safety practices
  • oversee payroll including attendance records and paid time off
  • ensure DOT compliance including safety requirements and drug screening
  • oversee verification and processing of daily delivery driver invoices, associated paperwork, returns and collections
  • interface with customers to solve discrepancies, problems and create cohesive relationships
  • foster collaborative relationships with sales, warehouse, delivery and customer service departments
  • administer worker’s compensation, incentive and safety programs
  • responsibly handle beverage alcohol product
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
