The role of Delivery Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts and products to professional customers. Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections
- keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operating
- secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected at all times
- pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and core products and complete driver return slips
- communicate customer problems or special needs to store management
- report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately
- ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked and secured at end of day
- clock in/out according to company policy
- perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, and cashier assistance as needed
