Job Description

O'Reilly Auto Parts is a leading retailer and distributor of automotive aftermarket parts, tools, supplies, equipment, and accessories. Founded in 1957, O'Reilly Auto Parts has grown into a nationwide company with thousands of stores across the United States, serving both professional installers and do-it-yourself customers. The company is known for its commitment to high-quality customer service, extensive product selection, and competitive prices. As a stable and growing company, O'Reilly Auto Parts offers its employees opportunities for long-term career growth and internal promotion, supporting a strong culture of success and development within the organization.

The role of Delivery Specialist at O'Reilly Auto Parts is a critical position that involves maintaining and operating company vehicles to deliver parts and products efficiently and safely to professional customers. This role requires delivering orders, collecting payment on cash-on-delivery (C.O.D.) transactions, and handling customer returns, including warranty and core parts. Delivery Specialists also ensure that all delivery-related devices and monetary assets are secure throughout their routes and that the delivery vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and inspected daily.

In addition to driving and delivering, the Delivery Specialist supports store operations by assisting with tasks such as stocking, merchandising, running errands, and providing customer service when necessary. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply as they can provide added value in customer communications. The pay range for this position typically falls between $16.00 and $25.00 per hour, with additional premiums and performance-based bonuses that may be awarded depending on schedules, locations, seasons, or specific work conditions.

This role demands a responsible, adaptable individual who can manage fluctuating delivery scenarios and maintain high safety standards. Drivers must possess a valid state driver’s license and comply with company driving eligibility requirements. The Delivery Specialist must be capable of using electronic fleet management devices effectively to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage records, and complete mandatory vehicle inspections before operating.

Working at O'Reilly Auto Parts means joining a company with a proven track record of consistent growth, financial stability, and a promote-from-within philosophy that encourages team members to advance professionally. Employees benefit from comprehensive total compensation packages that include competitive wages, paid time off, medical and dental insurance, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions from day one, stock purchase plans, tuition assistance programs, and health and wellbeing initiatives designed to support overall team member success.

O'Reilly Auto Parts is committed to equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin or ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected status under applicable laws. The company also provides reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities during the hiring and employment process.
