We are currently seeking a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately fill the role of Delivery Route Driver on a full-time basis. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of food products to various client locations while representing AVI Foodsystems with professionalism and dedication. As a Delivery Route Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of products, maintaining proper refrigeration for perishable items, and engaging positively with clients and team members alike. Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
Ability to pass the DOT Physical
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently

Job Duties

Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
Discard unsold and stale merchandise
Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
Manage the care of the company vehicle
