In this role, Delivery Representatives will operate propane delivery trucks along designated routes, fill bulk tanks with propane, and deliver cylinders to commercial and industrial customers. A critical component of the job is maintaining compliance with all federal and state safety regulations, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment. AmeriGas emphasizes ongoing safety training and incentivizes safe work habits to ensure both employee and customer well-being.

This position comes with competitive pay, ranging from $27.55 to $28.55 per hour, influenced by the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and certifications. Additional compensation opportunities include performance-based bonuses and commissions depending on the role and sales performance. AmeriGas’s Delivery Representatives must hold a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with hazmat and tanker endorsements and have an acceptable driving record. Candidates must be physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 70 pounds. This role requires adherence to DOT physical, drug testing, and background checks, and compliance with AmeriGas’s strict drug and safety policies, particularly regarding medical marijuana use.
