The company places a strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and operational excellence to maintain its reputation and commitment to its customers.
AmeriGas is currently seeking safety-minded and customer-focused Delivery Representatives to join their team. The position demands consistent use of personal protective equipment and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
The Delivery Representative position offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $29.90 to $30.90 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses or sales commissions, enhancing earning potential. AmeriGas offers an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans like 401(k) with company match, paid time off including holidays, parental leave, military leave, vacation, and sick leave as per state laws, and disability coverage. Other benefits include a $5,000 sign-on bonus, ongoing safety incentives, uniforms provided, an employee referral program, propane discounts year-round, and career advancement opportunities with annual performance reviews. This position offers local routes, allowing employees to be home every day, supporting work-life balance.
Working as a Delivery Representative for AmeriGas means joining a company that values its employees as part of a bigger mission to supply safe and reliable energy to millions of customers. This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, customer-oriented, safety-conscious, and looking to grow their career within a nationally recognized leader in the propane industry. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce and maintaining a drug-free workplace. The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and DOT physical. AmeriGas prohibits medical marijuana use due to federal contract requirements, even if prescribed by an authorized physician.
Overall, this opportunity presents a stable career path within a growing industry, supported by comprehensive training, competitive pay, and extensive benefits. Applicants interested in a fulfilling job with AmeriGas should be prepared to work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on demand, be physically capable of lifting up to 70 pounds, and maintain a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
