As the largest distributor of propane nationwide, AmeriGas operates more than 1,800 distribution points and employs over 6,500 dedicated professionals who work together to deliver over 1 billion gallons of propane annually. Recognized for its commitment to safety, customer service, and community, AmeriGas remains a leading and trusted provider in the propane industry, ensuring reliable energy solutions for its diverse customer base.

At AmeriGas, they are currently seeking highly motivated, safety-minded, and customer-focused Delivery Representatives to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally known company and industry leader. As a Delivery Representative, you will play a critical role in the company’s operations by safely delivering propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role requires an individual who is energetic and dedicated to providing excellent customer service while adhering strictly to federal and state safety regulations. Delivery Representatives operate propane delivery trucks to fill residential and commercial bulk tanks and deliver propane cylinders to commercial and industrial clients. The job involves working in various weather conditions, following safe operational policies, and consistently using personal protective equipment (PPE). Work shifts range between 8 to 12 hours depending on operational needs.

AmeriGas offers a wide range of benefits including 17 paid time off (PTO) days plus 7 paid holidays, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, ongoing safety incentives, and opportunities for career advancement supported by annual performance reviews. Uniforms are provided and the company encourages employee engagement with referral programs. Employees also have access to year-round medical coverage, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, and retirement plans such as a 401(k) with company match. Additional benefits include a propane discount, paid vacations, parental and military leave, sick leave in compliance with state laws, paid holidays, and disability coverage.

AmeriGas is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion. The company maintains a Drug-Free Workplace policy and requires all candidates to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Due to the nature of safety-sensitive positions, the company cannot permit the use of medical marijuana even if prescribed by a physician. AmeriGas continually invests in the safety and well-being of its workforce while supporting career growth and competitive compensation, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a rewarding and stable career in the propane industry.
