Matthews International is actively seeking a full-time Delivery Professional to join its Oklahoma City, OK Service Center. This role requires a dedicated and reliable individual who will serve as a key ambassador to the company's valued customers. The Delivery Professional will be responsible for delivering new caskets to funeral homes within the surrounding area, utilizing company-provided box trucks and vans. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $20 per hour and follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional availability required on Saturdays and very rare Sundays. The work shift begins early in the morning at 7 am and typically concludes by early afternoon, ensuring that employees have ample time at home.

The role is not limited to delivery duties alone; the Delivery Professional will also contribute to warehouse operations where necessary. Duties in the warehouse may include preparing, loading, and unloading caskets, managing inventory, and maintaining an organized workspace. Customer service is a critical aspect of this position, and the successful candidate will be expected to interact with clients in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. This role demands a high level of responsibility, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety standards.

This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination and motor vehicle record check.
