The role of Delivery Merchandiser at Stein Distributing is a critical position that directly impacts customer experience and brand representation. The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for the appearance and organization of product displays, stock rotation to maintain freshness, and the upkeep of point-of-sale materials to enhance consumer engagement. The job requires hands-on involvement with stocking, organizing, and delivering products while maintaining clean and orderly back-stock areas.

In this role, the Delivery Merchandiser reports to both the Delivery Supervisor and the Operations Manager, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include building and maintaining appealing in-store displays, managing cold boxes, and ensuring that all inventory is rotated correctly by code date to maintain product quality. Accurate and timely paperwork must be maintained to document daily activities, which supports smooth business operations and compliance with company standards.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, possess a valid driver’s license, and be capable of safely lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds regularly. Physical endurance is necessary as the role demands frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, squatting, and standing for prolonged periods. Maintaining company vehicle standards and adhering to all company policies are also important elements of this position.
