Job Description
Worldpac is a leading name in the automotive parts distribution industry, renowned for its well-established business model, robust technology platform, and comprehensive product assortment. For over 30 years, Worldpac has outperformed industry competitors by maintaining an unwavering commitment to its customers and suppliers. The company's culture fosters community, connection, and inclusion, ensuring an environment where employees can thrive both personally and professionally. As a workplace, Worldpac is dedicated to offering a challenging yet rewarding environment that stimulates innovation, creativity, and personal growth. The company places a strong emphasis on enabling every team member to reach their full potential through competitive compensation, career path development, and a supportive atmosphere.
Worldpac is currently seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member to join their team. This role is essential to the seamless delivery and logistics operations within the company's branch. The primary responsibility is driving established routes to deliver products and pick up returned merchandise from customers, ensuring safety and professionalism at all times. Beyond driving duties, this position is responsible for all shipping and receiving functions within the branch, encompassing a variety of warehouse tasks. The Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member will handle order dispatching, confirmation of customer orders, and the generation of delivery manifests and receiving documents. They will also play a key role in sorting, organizing, and preparing merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated locations.
This role demands operational competence with delivery vehicles as well as warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Attention to detail is critical, as the employee will need to ensure customer orders are correctly located, picked up, and signed for. Handling funds from customers when necessary and maintaining all relevant documentation also fall under the scope of this role. The company values employees who demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness in the work environment. The position requires a high level of customer service skills, including going above and beyond to meet customer needs and effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
Given the physical nature of the role, candidates must be comfortable with standing, walking, lifting weights up to 100 pounds occasionally, and other physical activities outlined in the job expectations. The work environment can involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise levels. This on-site position offers a competitive hourly pay range between $17.00 and $22.75 USD. Worldpac provides its full-time U.S. employees with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, wellness incentives, and a 401(k) plan with employer matching after one year of service. Canadian full-time employees receive extended health care benefits, dental, life and disability insurance, RRSP with employer matching, and employee assistance programs. Additional benefits for full-time roles include paid time off, paid holidays, annual performance reviews, merit increases, and support for career growth and success.
Worldpac prides itself on equal employment opportunity, valuing diversity and inclusion in the workplace. They provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to ensure an accessible recruitment and selection process. This opportunity promises a fulfilling career in a forward-thinking company that encourages employee engagement and professional development.
