The role of Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member at Worldpac involves operating established routes to deliver products to customers and pick up returned merchandise. This hybrid role also includes performing all shipping and receiving functions within the branch, requiring a candidate who is both dependable and able to handle varied warehouse tasks. The position focuses heavily on safety, customer service, and efficiency. Candidates will be responsible for safely operating vehicles to fulfill delivery duties, handling funds, generating delivery manifests, maintaining accurate records, and sorting merchandise within the warehouse.

Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
eligible to work within the country of application
must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
meet all specific state or province driver’s license requirements
able to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks
capable of lifting and moving up to 100 pounds occasionally
excellent attendance and punctuality
strong communication and customer service skills
ability and willingness to learn
able to use computers and handheld radio frequency devices
physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and lift heavy items
willingness to adhere to safety standards
able to maintain a clean and neat work environment

Job Qualifications

High school or secondary school diploma or GED equivalent
valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record per company standards
meets all applicable state or province-specific driver’s license requirements
strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
reliable attendance and punctuality
ability to safely operate equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
proficiency in basic math skills
ability to use a computer and handheld radio frequency device

Job Duties

Use vehicle to deliver orders and pick up returned merchandise safely and courteously
create and maintain records related to deliveries and warehouse operations
dispatch, confirm customer orders, and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents
sort, organize, and prepare merchandise for storage or other designated areas by part and quantity
ensure customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for
collect funds from customers if needed and maintain all necessary documents
perform other duties as assigned
