Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- eligible to work in the United States
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- must have valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record per company standards
- must meet all applicable state-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving company vehicle
- ability and willingness to drive safely adhering to company safety standards
- capable of safely operating equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
- consistent and reliable attendance
- physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, listen, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, climb or balance as required
- able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals
- proficient in basic math skills
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to use computer and handheld radio frequency device
- familiarity with automotive parts preferred
- demonstrated strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- ability to operate safely and maintain clean work environment
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- willingness to learn and gain knowledge about all aspects of branch operations
Job Duties
- Use vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner
- create and maintain records as needed
- dispatch, confirm customer orders and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents
- sort, organize and prepare merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas by part and quantity
- ensure that customer orders are located, picked up and signed for
- collect funds from customers if needed and maintain all necessary documents
- perform other duties as assigned
