Job Description

Worldpac is a leading name in automotive parts distribution, renowned for its industry-leading business model that combines a robust technology platform with a comprehensive product assortment. With over 30 years of experience, Worldpac has built a strong reputation within the automotive aftermarket industry, outperforming many competitors through its unwavering commitment to customers and suppliers alike. As a company, Worldpac values its team members immensely, fostering a sense of community, connection, and inclusion. This supportive culture encourages creativity, innovation, and personal growth, making it a dynamic and rewarding place to work. Beyond just operational success, Worldpac prioritizes career path development and provides competitive compensation and benefits to its employees, ensuring a balanced and fulfilling work environment.

The Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member role is essential within Worldpac's branch operations. This position involves driving established routes to deliver products or pick up returned merchandise, emphasizing safety and courtesy on the road. Apart from handling deliveries, this role encompasses all shipping and receiving functions inside the branch, making it a critical link between Worldpac’s inventory management and the end customers. Responsibilities include generating delivery manifests, maintaining accurate records, organizing merchandise according to parts and quantities, and ensuring that customer orders are properly located, signed for, and dispatched. Furthermore, the role requires collecting payments when necessary and maintaining all shipping and receiving documentation with diligent attention to detail.

Candidates in this role must be diligent, safe, and committed to providing excellent customer service, often 'going above and beyond' to meet customer expectations. They also need to maintain a clean and neat work environment, safely operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and utilize technology tools including computers and handheld radio frequency devices to ensure efficient processing and communication. Worldpac promotes a workplace that helps each team member achieve their full potential through training and an encouraging atmosphere. The job is based onsite and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.25 to $19.00, reflecting experience and qualifications within that scale. This position is best suited for individuals ready to embrace the involvement of both delivery and warehouse responsibilities within a renowned automotive company.
