As a Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member at Worldpac, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts to customers. This position involves driving established routes to deliver products and picking up returned merchandise, requiring safety and courtesy in all interactions. Additionally, this role encompasses all shipping and receiving functions within the branch, making it integral to the efficient operation of the warehouse.

The Delivery Driver/Warehouse team member is responsible for creating and maintaining necessary records, dispatching and confirming orders, generating delivery manifests, and handling receiving documents. This role also involves sorting, organizing, and preparing merchandise in the warehouse and ensuring customer orders are properly located, picked up, and signed for. Collecting funds from customers when necessary and maintaining related documentation are part of the daily duties. The position requires adherence to high safety standards, the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Worldpac offers competitive compensation, with a pay range from $14.25 to $19.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and education. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • eligible to work within the country in which you are applying
  • must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per company standards
  • must meet all applicable state or province-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • operates safely and can maintain a clean and neat work environment
  • ability to challenge upwards - respectful pushback
  • consistent and reliable attendance
  • physical ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • capability of safe operation of equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
  • ability to read and interpret safety and procedure documents
  • adherence to company safety standards while driving
  • valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • proficiency in basic math skills

Job Duties

  • Uses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner
  • create and maintain records as needed
  • dispatch, confirm customer order and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents
  • sorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or the production areas to storage or to other designated areas, by part and quantity
  • ensure that customer orders are located, picked up and signed for
  • collects funds from customers if needed and maintains all necessary documents
