Basalite is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable professional to join their team as a Truck Driver under the supervision of the Yard Superintendent. This role involves driving trucks to pick up and deliver various concrete masonry products, loading customers in the yard, and supporting the company’s core values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation, and Financial Success. The position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. The driver will be responsible for maintaining equipment, securing loads, transporting products throughout Idaho and Oregon, and managing inventory in the yard and warehouses.

This full-time role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $22.00 to $24.00, depending on experience. The role demands physical stamina with responsibilities such as standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and operating mechanical equipment including forklifts and various types of trucks like flatbeds, cement trailers, and dump trucks. The Truck Driver will use electronic logs and maintain paper records, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure all safety compliance measures are met. The candidate must have a valid Idaho CDL driver’s license, a good driving record, and forklift certification. Good communication skills, basic math, and reading abilities are essential to perform the job duties successfully.
