Job Description

A prominent logistics company operating in the Milwaukee area is seeking motivated independent contractors to manage contract routes. By providing flexible contract opportunities, they enable drivers to operate with a degree of autonomy while supporting consistent delivery schedules across Wisconsin, primarily originating in West Allis. This driving opportunity entails routes that typically take around 10 hours daily and cover an estimated 100 to 260 miles in round-trip journeys. Drivers will operate from West Allis and navigate throughout the Milwaukee vicinity, ensuring timely delivery of critical auto parts to various customer locations. The role requires readiness to meet logistical challenges while maintaining safety and adhering to customer standards. Independent contractors are expected to bring their own suitable vehicles, with a preference for small SUVs, minivans, or large SUVs that accommodate the cargo needs of auto parts transport.

Suitable candidates for this contract-based role should possess a smart phone to meet scanning and digital customer service requirements, facilitating smooth package handling and delivery confirmation. Additionally, applicants are subject to comprehensive screening processes including background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle record verification, reflecting the company’s commitment to safety and compliance.
