Delivery Driver/Courier

This role is designed for independent contractors interested in conducting delivery routes across Cocoa Beach and surrounding cities. These contracts offer the opportunity to work on a flexible schedule with routes available on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Weekday routes commence at 9:00 AM and typically take around 8 hours to complete, while weekend routes start at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM, generally lasting about 6 hours. The routes travel an estimated 100 to 160 miles, ensuring that contractors manage deliveries efficiently and reliably.

Contractors will begin and end their routes in Cocoa, Florida, making this an ideal position for local residents or those willing to commute. Prior experience in auto parts delivery or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory. Contractors are required to meet customer scanning requirements, for which a smartphone is preferred to facilitate smooth and accurate delivery confirmations.

The role demands a high level of professionalism, as contractors are subject to compliance checks including background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle checks, depending on client requirements. Additionally, independent contractors must carry bodily injury insurance coverage per person and per accident as part of their current auto insurance policy.
