Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- ability to stand for most tasks
- ability to walk short distances
- ability to lift cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to carry large cans, pizza sauce weighing up to 30 pounds, and trays of pizza dough weighting approx. 12 pounds each
- ability to push and pull trays on dollies
- ability to climb stairs or a ladder occasionally
- ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and squat occasionally
- ability to continuously reach up, down, and forward
- ability to use hands continuously during the day for various tasks
- willingness to work in conditions with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters
- ability to handle hot surfaces and sharp edges safely
- ability to talk and hear on telephone
- good vision for near, mid-range, and night driving
Job Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- must be able to make correct monetary change
- verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment
- stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- prepare product
- receive and process telephone orders
- take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- deliver product by car and then to door of customer
