Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- ability to lift and carry 4-gallon bins
- willingness to work Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2 pm
- English proficiency for safety-sensitive communication
- reliable transportation to and from work
- ability to perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and professionalism in customer interactions
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- clean driving record
- ability to perform physical tasks related to bin collection and vehicle operation
- strong attention to detail
- ability to maintain accurate records
- good communication skills
- willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- English proficiency for safety and communication
- previous delivery or driving experience preferred
Job Duties
- Service approximately 100 local residential accounts per shift
- deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers on occasion
- collect 4-gallon bins containing food waste and leave clean, empty bins behind
- maintain cleanliness and leave customer locations free of debris
- perform pre- and post-trip safety and vehicle checks
- weigh bins and record weights accurately
- take detailed service notes and maintain a clean vehicle
- return to warehouse to unload van at the end of route
- adapt to new services and operational updates with flexibility and a positive attitude
