The role available is for a CDL Class A Delivery Driver who will be responsible for the transportation and delivery of beverage products to customers using various tools such as trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The role is vital in ensuring that products arrive safely and on time, maintaining accurate records, and upholding high standards of customer service throughout the delivery process. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $31.00 based on experience, with attractive bonuses including a $500 employment bonus after 6 months, an additional $500 bonus after 12 months, and a $500 sign-on bonus after 60 days of employment. The Delivery Driver's responsibilities include securing goods properly inside the truck or trailer to minimize damage during transit, working efficiently from routing manifests to deliver products, accurately documenting deliveries and payments, and returning any unsold products, pallets, or containers. The role requires performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness, and also involves suggesting improvements for warehouse and company operations to enhance profit, quality, and service. Job Duties

  • Make sure goods and products are secured inside the truck or trailer to minimize damage during transit
  • read and efficiently work from routing manifest to deliver products using truck, forklift, pallet jack and/or hand truck
  • accurately record invoices, credits, or other instructional information on the truck route manifest
  • maintain accurate records of route, follow check-in procedures, verify payment for invoices, and check in any returned product
  • follow correct procedures to document customer receipt of product, omission or error, collect payment as appropriate
  • collect or pick up empty containers, rejects, or unsold merchandise
  • issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
  • upon completion of delivery route, follow check-in procedures, verifying accurate payment and checking in returned products, pallets, or containers
  • clean assigned delivery vehicle and trailer
  • perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and complete related reports
  • suggest and implement ways to improve profits, quality, and service in the warehouse and company
  • perform other duties as assigned
