Job Requirements
- 18 plus years old
- 21 plus years old to deliver alcohol
- consistent access to a smartphone
- valid driver’s license number or ability to use scooter/bicycle
- social security number for US-based Dashers
- ability to pass ID verification
- access to a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle
- eligibility according to local laws
Job Qualifications
- 18 or older to deliver, 21 or older to deliver alcohol where applicable
- possession of a valid driver’s license or scooter/bicycle use in select cities
- ownership or consistent access to a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle
- reliable smartphone for app usage
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- excellent customer service skills
- familiarity with local delivery areas
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders to customers promptly and courteously
- use the DoorDash app to manage and accept delivery requests
- maintain a high standard of customer service during deliveries
- handle cashless payment processing through the app
- follow all local traffic laws and safety regulations
- manage timely communication with customers and support when necessary
