Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number if delivering in the US
- Have any type of car, scooter, or bicycle for deliveries (depending on city)
- Successfully complete ID verification process
- Be eligible to work as an independent contractor in the US
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old, must be at least 21 years old to deliver alcohol
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number if in the US
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to follow instructions and operate smartphone apps
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Pick up food, grocery, and retail orders from merchants
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and track deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Handle payments and cash out earnings
- Maintain knowledge of local areas and efficient delivery routes
- Follow safety and health guidelines during deliveries
