Job Description
Weee! is the largest and fastest-growing ethnic e-grocer in the United States, revolutionizing the grocery retail industry by providing affordable access to a wide variety of exciting ethnic foods. Catering to one of the largest underserved categories in the retail sector, Weee! has successfully partnered with local suppliers, redefined the value chain, and leveraged social buying to transform the grocery shopping experience. Headquartered in Fremont, California, Weee! operates coast to coast, experiencing exceptional growth across geographies, categories, and cultures with a 5x year-over-year growth rate. With over $800 million raised in funding from prestigious investors such as Softbank Vision Funds, DST, Blackstone, Tiger Global, Lightspeed Ventures, Goodwater Capital, XVC, and iFly, Weee! is on an exciting trajectory toward further expansion and an eventual public listing.
As a Delivery Driver at Weee!, you will be an essential part of a dynamic logistics team playing a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their orders promptly and professionally. Operating within state-of-the-art logistics systems, you will manage deliveries efficiently while enjoying competitive compensation starting at $15 per hour plus tips, with the opportunity to earn between $25 and $30 per hour including tips. Full-time employees are eligible for time-and-a-half overtime pay after 40 hours per week. This role offers diverse shift opportunities with openings across daytime schedules, including weekdays and weekends.
The Delivery Driver position requires punctuality, courtesy, and a strong commitment to safety and quality control. As the face of Weee! to customers, you will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding customer service experience by picking up and unloading packages from warehouse hubs, delivering them on time, inspecting delivery vehicles, maintaining an accurate inventory of packages, and providing real-time feedback on delivery operations and customer interactions. This role demands physical capabilities including frequently moving heavy boxes and occasionally lifting items weighing 50 pounds or more.
Working at Weee! means joining an enthusiastic, growth-minded team environment with comprehensive benefits aimed at supporting employee health and financial wellness. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans with PPO/HMO options, a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match, and generous vacation, sick, and holiday time off. Weee! is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion and is committed to providing accommodations throughout the hiring process to those with disabilities or requiring assistance.
This is an exciting chance to join a cutting-edge e-grocery company that values innovation, growth, and community impact. If you are ready to be a part of a rapidly expanding team delivering quality food products to diverse communities, this Delivery Driver role at Weee! offers the perfect balance of opportunity, competitive pay, and a supportive work environment.
