Delivery Driver - Retail Merchandiser

As a Retail Merchandiser at Pacific Coast Fruit Company, you will play an essential role in ensuring that fresh produce reaches our retail, wholesale, and food service customers in excellent condition. You will be responsible for making timely deliveries, performing thorough inspections on orders, and sometimes assisting with merchandising and taking new orders directly in stores. This role is ideal for those who have a passion for customer service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in the quality of the products they handle. You will be entrusted with delivering between 7 to 15 shipments average per day depending on the schedule, ensuring all products meet quality standards and that any order irregularities such as damage or returns are properly addressed with the receiving personnel before departing the customer location. Additionally, in certain situations, you’ll be required to merchandise products within the store and help customers by taking orders for the following day’s delivery. This hands-on role provides a dynamic and interactive workday where no two days are exactly the same.
