Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field
- Good driving record with proof of auto insurance
- Ability to work flexible and long hours
- Ability to stand frequently during shifts
- Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds and maneuvering throughout the deli and kitchen areas
- Ability to operate various restaurant equipment and delivery van
- Ability to lift, carry catering cooler bags, handle hot and cold beverages, bend, crouch, and communicate intentions clearly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience in restaurant or related food service field preferred
- Good driving record with proof of auto insurance
- Ability to operate coffee maker, POS system, microwave, computer, copier, telephones, knives, ovens, bread slicer, bagel slicer, cell phone, and delivery van
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexible and long hours as needed
Job Duties
- Deliver made-from-scratch food promptly to customers and event venues
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality consistent with TooJay's standards
- Operate delivery vehicle safely and maintain proof of auto insurance
- Assist in marketing efforts by identifying and engaging prospective deli fans
- Use POS system and other restaurant equipment efficiently
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Handle catering cooler bags and manage physical demands of the role
