Delivery Driver, Picnic - East Bay

As a part-time Delivery Driver at Picnic, you will play a crucial role in facilitating this mission.

In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, picking up, and transporting food orders with accurate scanning and smart handoffs to our Tower Ambassadors, who then deliver meals to customers within local office buildings. Your contribution not only ensures that food arrives promptly and in excellent condition but also helps strengthen the community bond between Picnic and the people we serve. This position demands reliability, great communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. While no previous experience is strictly required, previous food delivery or service roles are beneficial to success in this job.

Employment is part-time, with shifts primarily during traditional lunch hours Monday through Friday, offering a flexible schedule where drivers can choose their hours to best fit their personal lives. Compensation is competitive at $30 per batch delivery, providing a fair and rewarding pay structure. We welcome applicants who have reliable transportation, can lift up to 30 pounds, and possess the ability to navigate stairs as part of their deliveries. The work is performed in person and involves interaction both with restaurant staff during pickup and Tower Ambassadors during delivery handoff.
