The Pharmacy Services & Delivery department at Cardinal Health plays a critical role in the coordination and distribution of pharmaceutical products, including radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications. This specific role involves managing the safe and timely delivery of these products to various healthcare facilities such as acute care hospitals, oncology centers, ambulatory care clinics, and retail customers. The position requires attention to detail and compliance with strict safety standards, including those set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
This is a full-time position offering $17.00 per hour with no bonus eligibility. Working hours are based on a 40-hour weekly schedule, Monday through Friday from 2:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with some flexibility required for varying start times and rotating weekend shifts. The role also includes night on-call duties approximately once every one to two weeks on a rotational basis.
The responsibilities include preparing and packaging radiopharmaceuticals for shipment, using handheld devices for scanning and route management, maintaining company vehicles, and delivering to assigned customer routes. The role requires a candidate who can operate in various weather conditions, handle weight up to 75 pounds, and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual capable of working independently while adhering to established protocols and quality standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work early morning hours and rotating weekends
- Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
- Prior delivery driving experience a plus
- Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
- Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
- Ability to use computers and tablets
Job Duties
- Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL)
- Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
- Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
- Processes packages returned from customer locations
- Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
- Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
