This particular opportunity is for a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver within Cardinal Health's Pharmacy Services & Delivery department. The position is aimed at those who are responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers. The role involves preparing doses for shipment, packaging, loading and unloading containers, and maintaining safety standards according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The driver uses a company vehicle (non-commercial driver's license required) to complete the assigned routes and utilizes handheld technology to scan orders and navigate delivery stops.

The Nuclear Pharmacy Driver position offers full-time employment at a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, working 32 hours per week primarily on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with early morning shifts from 2:00 am to 10:00 am. Employees will have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off but are expected to participate in on-call shifts and work 1-2 holidays annually. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
  • Prior delivery driving experience a plus
  • Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
  • Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
  • Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
  • Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work on-call/holidays as part of a rotation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
  • Ability to use computers and tablets

Job Duties

  • Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
  • Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
  • Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
  • Processes packages returned from customer locations
  • Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
  • Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required
