Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- must have a valid driver’s license in your name when delivering by car or scooter
- must possess a government-issued ID when delivering by bicycle or on foot
- must own a qualifying vehicle (car with 2 or 4 doors, motorized scooter under 50cc, bicycle)
- must submit social security number for onboarding and background check
- must have a smartphone and data plan to access the Uber Eats app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license (if delivering by car or scooter)
- ability to navigate Staten Island and surrounding areas efficiently
- basic smartphone proficiency to use the Uber app
- good communication skills
- punctuality and reliability
- ability to work independently without constant supervision
- prior delivery or driving experience is a plus but not mandatory
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests on the Uber Eats app
- navigate efficiently to pick up and deliver orders
- maintain timely delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
- adhere to local traffic and safety regulations
- communicate effectively with customers and Uber support
- manage own schedule and availability
- maintain a reliable and well-maintained vehicle or transportation method
