Job Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old to drive or scooter deliver
- Be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- Have a valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- Own a 2-door or 4-door vehicle for car delivery
- Have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- Provide government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- Submit Social Security number for background screening
- Pass a background check
- Have a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or driving experience is an advantage
- Ability to navigate South Salt Lake area efficiently
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Capability to operate a smartphone and use apps proficiently
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Deliver food to customers promptly and safely
- Use the Uber Eats app to manage delivery routes and orders
- Communicate effectively with customers and support if issues arise
- Maintain a clean and presentable appearance
- Follow all traffic laws and Uber safety guidelines
- Ensure the security of food orders during transit
- Adapt to flexible scheduling based on personal availability
