Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- have a valid driver's license for motorized delivery methods
- own or have access to an eligible delivery vehicle (car, scooter, bicycle)
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- be able to pass a criminal background check
- have a smartphone compatible with the Uber Eats app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver's license if delivering by car or scooter
- government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods
- ability to use a smartphone and navigate apps
- customer service skills
- basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- prior experience in delivery or rideshare driving is a plus
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- pick up food orders from restaurants promptly
- follow navigation routes to deliver food to customers
- communicate with customers and support as needed
- maintain delivery equipment and ensure food safety
- manage time effectively to complete multiple deliveries
- comply with local traffic laws and Uber policies
