Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- have a valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- own a 2-door or 4-door vehicle for car delivery
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- provide a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- submit a Social Security number for background screening
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license (for car and scooter drivers)
- ability to pass a background check
- familiarity with the Macon area and navigation skills
- good communication and customer service skills
- reliable access to a vehicle, scooter, bicycle, or ability to deliver on foot
- ability to use a smartphone and operate the Uber Eats app
- self-motivation and ability to work independently
Job Duties
- deliver food and other items promptly and safely to customers
- follow delivery instructions and navigate efficiently through Macon
- maintain communication with customers and support teams via the app
- comply with local traffic laws and Uber’s delivery policies
- provide excellent customer service and represent Uber positively
- manage time effectively to maximize delivery opportunities
- maintain vehicle or delivery equipment in good condition
