Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- must be at least 18 years old for bicycle or pedestrian delivery
- valid driver's license required for car and scooter delivery
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- own a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- pass a background check including Social Security number verification
- government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- have a smartphone compatible with the Uber Eats app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver's license in your name (if delivering by car or scooter)
- government-issued ID (if delivering by bicycle or on foot)
- minimum age of 19 for car or scooter delivery
- minimum age of 18 for bicycle or foot delivery
- ability to use a smartphone and navigate delivery apps
- good communication skills
- familiarity with Jacksonville streets and neighborhoods
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- pick up food orders from local restaurants promptly
- deliver orders to customers in a timely and professional manner
- maintain communication with customers and Uber support
- manage optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency
- uphold safety standards and traffic laws
- troubleshoot delivery issues and report any incidents
