Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- valid driver’s license required for car or scooter delivery
- motorized scooter under 50cc required for scooter delivery
- government-issued ID required for bicycle or foot delivery
- ability to provide social security number for background check
- access to a 2-door or 4-door car for car deliveries
- reliable smartphone with data plan
- must pass background screening
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- familiarity with local Cambridge streets and restaurants
- basic smartphone proficiency
- excellent communication skills
- customer service experience is a plus
- ability to navigate using GPS technology
- prior delivery or rideshare experience advantageous
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- pick up orders from restaurants and ensure accuracy
- deliver food promptly and courteously to customers
- maintain communication with customers and support team as needed
- ensure all food items are handled safely and hygienically
- use GPS navigation to optimize delivery routes
- manage delivery schedules and availability independently
