Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old if delivering by bicycle or on foot or at least 19 years old if delivering by car or scooter
- have a valid government-issued ID or driver’s license
- submit a Social Security number for background screening
- own or have access to a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- own or have access to a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- be able to lift and carry food delivery bags
- possess a smartphone capable of running the Uber Eats app
- have reliable internet access for app usage
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the selected delivery method
- ability to use a smartphone app proficiently
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- customer service experience is a plus
- knowledge of local area and traffic patterns is beneficial
- background in driving or delivery is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Pick up food orders from restaurants accurately and promptly
- deliver orders to customers ensuring timely and safe delivery
- use the Uber Eats app to navigate and manage delivery requests
- maintain professionalism and courteous communication with customers and restaurant staff
- manage time efficiently to maximize earnings and complete deliveries
- follow all traffic and safety regulations while driving, scooting, biking or walking
- inspect vehicle or mode of transport regularly for safety and maintenance
