As a Delivery Driver at Jimmy John's, employees will use their reliable personal vehicles to safely navigate to customer locations, adhering strictly to traffic and safety regulations. The responsibility extends beyond just delivery – drivers must carefully manage transactions by accurately handling cash or securing credit card payments along with customer signatures. To ensure safety, drivers will adhere to protocols such as carrying no more than $50 on their person at any given time, reducing the risk of theft or robbery. Furthermore, each Delivery Driver will be required to mount and wear a provided car-topper sign to promote the company's brand during deliveries. When not out delivering, drivers also support the in-store team by assisting with many tasks such as sandwich making, order taking, prep work, and maintaining cleanliness.

This position offers part-time hours with generally flexible scheduling options, where shifts may range from morning to evening with typical delivery times scheduled from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or closing shifts from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Schedules are managed conveniently through the 7shifts online platform, and team members are expected to manage their schedules responsibly. Compensation is competitive, with average earnings ranging between $15.00 to $25.00 per hour. Base pay is $11.00 per hour for day shifts and $12.00 per hour for evening shifts after 4:00 PM. Employees also receive mileage reimbursement at $0.45 per mile and keep 100% of their tips. Additional financial flexibility is offered with bi-weekly direct deposits and the option for daily pay via a Branch Card after the first paycheck.

Employees working any shift receive a free sandwich, and for shifts eight hours or longer, a free regular combo meal is provided.
