The Non-CDL Driver role at Farmer's Fridge is an essential part of the company’s operational success and mission fulfillment. The position involves delivering fresh food products to wholesale retail partners and Smart Fridges located throughout Vernon, CA, operating under the shift schedule of 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, Sunday through Thursday. The role offers an attractive hourly rate of $21.00 per hour, along with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a monthly performance bonus of $350. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are executed accurately and timely, managing the assigned route with ownership to guarantee food reaches its destination within the correct time window. You will use a company-owned refrigerated van to navigate city streets safely and efficiently, delivering to various customers, partner retail locations, and Smart Fridges while utilizing technology such as iPads to confirm completed deliveries. The role also requires a customer-focused attitude since drivers are the company’s face during all delivery interactions; professionalism and friendliness are key.

Ideal candidates will have experience with professional driving, ideally in a food shipment setting using refrigerated box trucks. Proficiency in technology usage including computers, Microsoft software, and iPads is expected. Candidates should possess some mechanical knowledge capable of performing minor repairs on delivery vans or Smart Fridges. Physical fitness is essential as the role requires the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. This role specifically requires a non-commercial driver's license (Non-CDL), making it accessible to a broad range of applicants.
