The Delivery Driver role at Farmer's Fridge is an essential part of their mission to make fresh and healthy food more accessible. This non-CDL driver position is based in Vernon, California, with a shift schedule from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The hourly rate for this full-time role is $22.00, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and a $350 monthly performance bonus. As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of Farmer's Fridge, ensuring that fresh food deliveries to wholesale partners and smart fridges are executed on time and with exceptional customer service. The job entails safely maneuvering a company-owned refrigerated van through city streets, adhering to strict delivery schedules, and communicating effectively through the Farmer's Fridge mobile app. Success in the role is measured by consistent on-time deliveries and strict adherence to established delivery processes. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, professional attitude, and demonstrate a high level of dependability, organization, and teamwork skills, even when working independently. You will also utilize technology such as Gmail, Slack, iPads, and smartphone apps to maintain communication and track delivery progress. Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs to vehicles or smart fridges is advantageous. This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift at least 50 pounds confidently.
